With our digital parking meters, you can pay your parking fee quickly and easily using your smartphone. Simply scan the QR code displayed on the digital parking meter, enter your license plate number, and pay the parking fee using a payment method stored on your smartphone, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment is encrypted and processed in just a few seconds—no waiting in line. This way, you stay flexible and are back on the road in just a few seconds.

Park with us regularly? Skip the pay station altogether. With our Pay-by-Invoice Parking service, your licence plate is recognised automatically and your parking sessions are billed in a single monthly invoice sent by email. Ideal for frequent parkers, commuters, and business customers.
Here’s how to pay at the self-checkout machine
Of course, you can still pay the traditional way at the parking meter. Simply enter your license plate number or insert your parking ticket into the slot. The parking fee and available payment options will be displayed immediately.
Now select your preferred payment method: contactless via smartphone, credit or debit card, or cash.
Once payment has been made, you can receive your receipt directly from the machine if you wish. You can also request the receipt later using our online form if you happen to forget it.

What should I do if I lose my parking ticket and find it later?
If you find your ticket after paying, you can submit it along with your payment receipt using the ‘Lost and Found Parking Ticket’ form on the website. We will check whether a refund is possible.
How can I pay for my parking ticket?
At all pay-on-exit machines, you can pay in cash, by debit or credit card, or using contactless payment (e.g. Apple Pay or Google Pay). In car parks with number plate recognition, payment can also be made online via your smartphone.
What to do if the pay-on-exit machine isn’t working?
Please use the intercom at the pay-on-exit machine. You will be put through directly to the PBG control centre, where we will be happy to assist you. In car parks with number plate recognition, you can complete your payment online by scanning the QR code displayed.
Can I pay using my smartphone?
Yes, in parking garages with license plate recognition, you can conveniently complete your parking transaction online by scanning the QR code posted there.
What does ‘cashless parking’ mean?
As well as the traditional cashless payment at the pay-on-exit machine, ‘cashless parking’ with us also means no more parking tickets and no more pay-on-exit machines. For ‘Pay-by-invoice parking’, you set up a customer account; your number plate is automatically recognised when you enter and exit, and your parking charges are billed online each month.
Can I get a parking receipt at a later date?
Yes, please go to the ticket machine at the PBG control centre. They can issue a receipt for you.
How does payment work at the electric charging point?
Payment is processed through your e-mobility provider (e.g., ENBW, Ionity, or Mainova). Parking fees must be paid separately before leaving the parking lot.
I’ve noticed an error when paying. What should I do?
Please note down the car park, the date, the time and the amount, and send us this information by email. We will look into the matter and get back to you as soon as possible.
