Can I park in a free electric charging bay if all other spaces are taken?

No. Even if the car park is full, charging bays must not be used by vehicles that are not charging. These spaces are reserved for electric vehicles whilst they are charging.

Parking rates vary depending on the car park and the duration of your stay. The current rates are listed on the relevant car park’s webpage – including short-stay, daily and, where applicable, special rates.

How do I find the nearest available car park?

You can find the nearest available car park via the location overview on the website. All PBG car parks are displayed there with real time availability data.

How can I tell if a car park is open?

Opening hours are listed on the relevant car park page. Many of PBG’s car parks are open 24 hours a day.
If opening hours vary or there are temporary closures, you can find up-to-date information online or at the car park entrance.

Can I pick up my car at any time of the day or night?

You can leave the car park at any time of the day or night. Please be aware that there may be restrictions at individual car parks (e.g. due to construction work).

Is there a maximum parking duration?

The maximum permitted parking duration for short-term parking is one month. However, special rules may apply in certain car parks – for example, for night-time or event rates. You will find details of this at the entrance or on the relevant car park page.

Can I park my motorbike in a multi-storey car park?

No, in PBG multi-storey car parks, it is not permitted to drive in with any vehicles other than a car. This includes motorbikes, scooters, mopeds, e-scooters and trailers.

Can I park in an electric charging bay even if I don’t have an electric car or am not charging it?

No. Parking spaces with electric charging points are reserved exclusively for electric vehicles whilst they are charging.
